I founded RTL Associates LLC to help tech professionals, founders, cross-border families, and trustees and beneficiaries navigate complex tax matters through careful preparation and proactive planning.

I developed more than 20 years of public accounting experience (starting at PwC, Mah & Associates, Berger Lewis—which later merged with Armanino —and Weber and Company). I spent 15 years at Weber, serving as a tax partner during the last 8 years. I hold a Master of Science in Taxation degree.  My expertise includes international tax, pass-through entities, estates and trusts, and equity compensation. Fluent in English and Chinese, I understand the cultural perspectives that shape cross-border financial decisions.

My work goes beyond tax filing. I provide proactive planning for RSU sales and ISO exercises and sales, help clients meet QSBS exclusion requirements, maintain accurate and defensible foreign filings, and coordinate trust and estate compliance across generations.
